Sleeping up to 13 guests, this combination of two 3 bedroom villas (Villa 484 and 485) are located in the quiet unspoilt village of Argaka set amidst fruit orchards and olive trees. The combination of the two stone built villas both with private swimming pools are perfect for larger groups wishing to holiday together or for a wedding ceremony and reception. Each property has a similar layout, with the colour of the furnishings differing slightly.

The villas offer a high standard of accommodation and are equipped throughout with high-quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings. The spacious lounges offer satellite TV (limited channels), and a working fireplace. Large sets of French doors open out onto the front terraces overlooking the swimming pools. The kitchens feature a solid oak dining table and 6 chairs, integrated dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric oven and hob and large American-style fridge freezer. The first bedroom is situated on the ground floor, together with an en-suite bathroom. A guest cloakroom is adjacent.

The staircases leads to the first floor and a large, airy landing with utility area with sink. French doors open out onto the vast upper terrace, which looks over the pool and the orange groves beyond and down to the sea. Two further bedrooms are located on the first floor, both with small private balconies.

All bedrooms have air-conditioning and are included in the rental rates. Additional units are available in the kitchens and living areas for a small supplement payable locally (see rental rates).

Safety deposit boxes are available in each villa. A baby cot and highchair can be provided on request in each villa.

Outside, both villas have extensive patios and sunbathing areas bordering the unusually large 14-metre private swimming pools which have a small waterfall feature at the shallow end. For an added touch of luxury, an outdoor jacuzzi hot tub is available (see rental rates). A poolside shower and six upholstered wooden sunbeds are also provided at each villa, and a large table and chairs and a barbecue are provided for outdoor dining to be enjoyed. To the side are lawned areas and colourful gardens.

Each villa is surrounded by stone walls topped with trellis fencing to maximise the privacy of each property.

The grounds on which both villas are located offer extensive common outdoor area where all guests can enjoy the use of a large outdoor bar (adjacent WC), barbecue and children's playground.

Argaka is located on the coastal plains of the Chrysochous area away from the more mainstream destinations. Nourished by its own reservoir this agricultural area is well known for its abundance of citrus orchards The settlement of Argaka itself is divided into two parts, Pano Argaka (upper) located between the sea and the pine forest is the older of the two communities. Here, traditional style architecture can be found amongst the narrow, winding roads and the traditional spirit of Cyprus is still very much in evidence at the local kafenion which provides a focal point for the village's residents to gather, exchange news and pass the time of day. Kato Argaka (lower) is the newer settlement standing next to the sea. Although this area features more contemporary style residences, a small supermarket, a kiosk and a handful of tavernas dotted along the coastal road, the atmosphere is still very laidback. A small shop offering basic provisions is within 800 metres of the villa and a small café/coffee house offering snacks and a couple of restaurants are within 1.5 kilometres of the villa.

The undeveloped beaches of the Argaka area stretch along a natural coastline of coarse sand, shingle and pebble. For a day here you will need to bring your own beach mat and umbrella. Refreshments can be found at one of the tavernas scattered along the coastal road or you can take a cool box and lunch under the shade of the trees in one of the designated picnic areas.

Polis is the principal town for the region, huddled around a pedestrianised square where visitors and locals gather in the mornings to enjoy a coffee and watch the world pass by and in the evenings to dine at one of the wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes which radiate out from the centre. The town has an archaeological museum and cultural centre. Polis which is approximately 10 minutes drive away offers the nearest organized beach to the villas backed by tall Eucalyptus trees.

A little further along the coast from Polis is the seaside resort of Latchi with its recently opened 200 berth marina. Here you will find an array of inviting sea-front tavernas with a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood served daily. Just beyond Latchi you will find the well known 'Baths of Aphrodite' and for nature lovers the protected Akamas Peninsular an area particular suited to walkers and adventurers who can explore the many criss-crossed nature trails. The coastline of this area can also be enjoyed by boat with daily excursions available from the marina.

Polis and the surrounding villages count bowling, go-karting, fishing, cycling, watersports and scuba diving amongst the many activities on offer to the visitor. The Minthis Golf Course is approximately a 40 minute drive away. The town of Paphos with its World Heritage Sites, modern shopping facilities, waterpark, Paphos Zoo and attractive harbour area is within a 50 minute drive.

There are 4 golf courses; Minthis Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course, Aphrodite Hills Golf Course and Elea Golf Course, all within approximately a 40 minute to 1 hour drive.
